Are you tired of all the reviews of Exposed Acne Treatment that are really only trying to get you to buy the product they are supposedly "reviewing" from their affiliate link so they get the commission? Are you tired of the fake reviews and do you want some substantial information? Well, there are no affiliate links on this page, I'm not associated in any way with the company that I am reviewing. For those of you that don't know, Exposed Acne Treatment has a program where you can sign up to be an affiliate so that when you promote their product and people use your link to buy their product you get a commission. This system invariably leads to lots of fake affiliate reviews. Also, all the information presented in this blog is my personal opinion, I am not a doctor or any sort of medical professional, if you have been prescribed some acne medication, then don't stop taking it because of anything you have read here, I am not giving medical advice. So once again, this is all my personal opinion and nothing more. All right, now that I'm done with the disclaimer we can get to the review of Exposed Acne Treatment.
So, the big questions are, does this product really work and it is different from any other topical acne medication? I had been reading other reviews about this product and a lot of people seemed to think highly of it so I wanted to try it out for myself to see firsthand what the results would be. Just to give a little background on my personal situation, I had light to moderate breakouts when I was younger, like in middle and high school. It was very disconcerting to me to have to deal with the stress of feeling self conscious around my peers. I have since then had my acne clear up and now enjoy a very satisfied self perception and high self esteem. But when I was younger I went through the same terrible rite of passage as so many other young adults have to go through. I really feel like I came out stronger on the other side though, like the tribulations were actually good for me. There is that saying that your blessings are disguised as your worst nightmares and now I can see how that would be true. In any case let's get back to the subject at hand which is the Exposed Acne Treatment Review.
On their website the Exposed Acne Treatment company makes some pretty bold assertions about how fast and how effective their product can clear up acne. When I was suffering with acne on my face and none of the medications I had tried worked, and even some acne medicines made my condition worse. I thought I would never find a good acne solution for my problem. I really hated how some of the topical creams made my face dry, flaky, red, and itchy. This just made me more self conscious and hurt on top of my original problem. Taking these other acne treatments was like walking in the complete wrong direction. I really never thought I would find a viable solution but I wanted to see how well Exposed Acne Treatment was in any case.
The first thing I look at when I am doing a review of acne treatments is look at the ingredients. This will tell me a lot about what to expect in the way of harshness, drying out of my skin, and how much the company cares about the ingredients they are selling to people who are actually trusting them to help them with, to them, is a big problem. First, if there is nothing in the product that promotes healing of the skin and moisturizing then it will probably dry you out and make the situation that much worse.
It probably has something to do with the Madison Ave. airbrushing celebrities culture that we live in but it makes us all want to look like super models all the time even though even super models don't look like they do with make up all the time. And they even get blemishes just like the rest of us, maybe even more because of all the make up they where.
Back to the review of Exposed Acne Treatment...
Let's take a look at the ingredients that make up this product. The first ingredient is Benzoyl Peroxide, which is a common treatment for acne, this is what gets rid of the bacteria that causes the blemishes in the first place, although if this ingredient were to be used by itself it would severely dry out the skin. Alpha Hydroxy Acids are the next ingredient, these acids help to get rid of excess dead skin that can build up and clog your pores. They have also added green tea extract, which is a centuries old natural ingredient that has anti-microbial properties. To off set the affects of the Benzoyl Peroxide they have added Allanton, Alphp Lipoic Acid, and Aloe Vera, which all help soothe and heal your skin. Hyaluronic Acid and licorice root extract help hold moisture and reduce redness.
I don't have a problem with any of the ingredients, they are quality. One big problem I have with the Exposed Acne Treatment system is that you have to use three different substances to wash your face. For me, doing this everyday, sometimes twice a day, is a real hassle. The whole process takes so much time to get through a lot of the time I can't justify taking that big of a chunk out of my day just to wash my face.
What I really don't like about Exposed Acne Treatment is the advertising. Just like everyone else I'm really tired of all of these people making commission of me beleiving their 'review' being objective. This really isn't the fault of Exposed, it's a smart marketing position. But, more than that, the advertising from the company itself doesn't live up to reality. I didn't see the results that the company promised in the amount of time they said I would. I really didn't start seeing any results until much after the time they said my face would be clear.
So, in conclusion, the Exposed Acne Treatment system does not live up to its advertising. The ingredients are quality so they do care about their product. If you are already using an acne treatment then it is really not worth switching to Exposed Acne Treatment.

Growing Up With Acne
It's a sad rite of passage that so many young adults have to take, getting acne. I still remember walking down the hallways in middle school and high school feeling self conscious about the blemishes on my face. I now realize that everyone else was just as self conscious as I was an nobody really cared about what other people looked like, everyone just thought that people cared about what they looked like. Maybe some people were really that shallow, but then who cares what someone that shallow thinks anyways.
Now I'm older and I don't really have an acne problem. Occasionally I will get a blemish but it's usually gone within a day or two but I don't care what people think now anyways.
Growing up I tried all sorts of acne treatments, acne medication, and acne medicine, but none of them really seemed to make much of a difference and some even made my face break out worse. I ended up thinking that there weren't any effective acne treatments even out there and I still think that. I wish I would not have wasted my money buying useless and sometimes harmful products, it's so irritating.
I guess if I cared more about my blemishes then I would have gone to a dermatologist to find an solution that actually worked. I've heard about this thing called the blue light acne treatment that sounds interesting. You just sit in a chair or lie on a bed and this light that is in a very narrow spectrum of the blue frequency shines on your face. Supposedly it only targets the bacteria that causes acne and leaves all the skin around the hair follicle alone. What I would have given to have some treatment like that when I was younger although it is expensive, even compared to other acne treatments, which is saying a lot because acne medication is all pretty expensive.
I've heard that your diet has a lot to do with the complexion of your skin and now that I am eating much healthier I think there is something to that. I mean, it makes a lot of sense that what you would put in your body would have a bearing on your outward appearance. But when I was younger I thought this was not true I think because of the suggestive thinking of the advertisers that were making lots of money of people like me who were buying lots of acne treatments.
